If you need a visa, we encourage you to register early. You may need the e-mail
confirmation of acceptance to the conference for a visa application.
Access to PEI
Using terestrial transportation:
- by bridge: Confederation Bridge joins PEI to New Brunswick.

by ferry: A 75 minute seasonal ferry operates May to December from Wood Islands,
PEI to Caribou, Nova Scotia.
There is a fee for leaving the island: $47.00 by bridge and $78.00 by ferry. Arriving to the island is free.
Charlottetown is located at the intersection of HWy 1 and HWy 2.
In case you are attending DCFS 2018 in Halifax, you can:
- rent a car to come to
CIAA 2018, as Stanfield International is located 30kM north of Halifax

Take a bus from Halifax to Charlottetown using
Maritime Bus.
By air

Air Canada offers daily flights from Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, and Toronto.

Westjet operates everyday and starting May 1, 2018 from Toronto.

Condor airlines offers relatively cheap direct
flights from many European cities to Halifax.
To arrive in Charlottetown by air using Condor, their partner Westjet will take you from Toronto or Montreal
to Charlottetown. There are no Westjet direct flights from Halifax to Charlottetown.
