Accomodation

Although October is not as busy as July and August in Prince Edward Island, we strongly recommend you book your accommodations as soon as possible, to avoid disappointment.
Other concurent events are taking place at the same time as MSCS 2023, so please make your reservation ASAP.

A block of rooms has been held in reserve for SMCS 2023 attendees in the hotels recommended on our website; rates are very reasonable. For all the other hotels listed here, we have obtained special rates, and the rooms are held in reserve until JULY 12, 2023 (as this would increase the price for you, the attendee). However, instructions are provided for claiming these special rates when making your reservations.

To get these prices you must mention that you attend MSCS 2023@UPEI in October.

Each attendee is responsible for their own room reservation - the MSCS 2023 Organizing Committee cannot make reservations on your behalf. However, if you have any difficulties in communicating with any hotel, we will be pleased to assist you in doing so.

Please note that most accommodations on Prince Edward Island do not permit smoking in rooms, restaurants, or any other indoor facility - this is a law in Charlottetown, in fact. If you smoke in a non-smoking room, you are subject to an automatic cleaning and deodorizing service fee which usually costs about CDN$200.00. You are free to smoke outside the building, however.
